SimThyr is free software that is distributed under a BSD license. This open source model warrants maximum freedom to use, distribute and even modify the application for your purposes. Furthermore, the fact that SimThyr's sourcecode is public fosters transparency, scientific discussion and interpretation of simulation results. You may readily conceive the modellilng equations from the simulation algorithm and published papers on SimThyr and its model.

SimThyr has been compiled for major desktop computing platforms including macOS, Linux and Windows. Source code is available for THINK Pascal (for Mac OS Classic) and Lazarus / Free Pascal (for macOS / Mac OS X, Windows and Linux).
